What will you see at EWCCSF?
Obviously you will see brown, white, black, tall, short, young and elderly people at our church. But as the pastor of the church, I would like to introduce to you more of what you will experience. Here are some glimpses:

 

Significance of the community: The community here at EWCCSF is of God’s people, but they are from different countries  such as the U.S.A., Fiji, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan. They represent eight major languages. People from different walks and beliefs have come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and were added to the church. The growth of the church still takes place through the experience of being ‘born again.’ People who were baptized (through immersion) at the church are those who stepped out from the doctrines of Roman Catholicism, episcopalism, Hinduism, and nominal Christian menace. This reminds me of a picture in heaven. Revelation 7:9 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes,” Wouldn’t you like to join a church like this?

Significance of Convictions: While the church’s doctrines are spelled out separately on the web page, the beliefs reflect:

 

• Preaching that is based on grammatical, historical, evangelical and theological perspective
• Pre millennium and pre-tribulation with reference to rapture.
• Elder rule in the church
• Second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ as imminent
• Scriptures are inspired, infallible and are to be interpreted by itself
• There is no sinless perfection until the believers are presented in the place where there is no sin.

 

Colossians 1:28   28 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.

Why should I recommend a church like this to you?

Significance of Commitment: With all the glamorous attractions around, people in the church are committed to serve the Lord with unity. There are humongous churches where people could go unnoticed, hidden and at the same time be entertained by programs and other benefits. But instead, the church members at EWCCSF are noticed for corrections, rebuke and spiritual growth.

Significance of Culture: The display of the culture is ‘Christ culture.’ “Culture reveals the character of man and the character of man makes the culture. Culture and character can be changed with the interference of the character of God, who can give us absolute values which no one can give.”
EWCCSF displays:

 

• A servant-leader culture in the activities of the church. The leaders in the church board are those who serve with humility, kindness and love.
• A voluntary culture in serving without any remuneration. (Only pastor is paid a salary). All others who serve in the worship team, Sunday school, decoration of the church, outreach ministry, website ministry, Control room services, hosting, etc. are all voluntary.
